This is a sailboat, called a bristol channel cutter. It's origin is England, and was used to load and unload big ships at sea in all kinds of weather ... very seaworthy and can hold a lot of weight.

It is not a racing sailboat, although it has a reputation of pointing well. Considering it is a heavy displacement, live-a-board, world cruising, working yacht.

She has been registered under the number 16109 in the German Seaship Register, distinctive letters DIAK, port of registry is Hamburg.

She was christened ”BELLATRIX” and launched in June 1994.
